ok, so last night am watching the memorial and this is going thru my mind…

why do people care so much after one is gone??? like my uncle Fred said, “they shd have shown him this support while he was living, he wdnt be that indebted!” …People called him wierd n all other orts of things, but who amongst us lived with him or knew him that well? none of his family n friends said anything of the sort at the funeral, but then again maybe….just maybe, its because we shdnt speak ill of the dead ini?! i dont know…

ok and then there is this, why do we even bother…this whole pursuit of happiness????is it worth it? i mean, u wake up early every day, go to work 4a boss that probably doesnt care if u had sugar in ur tea in the morning…not probably, he actually doesnt care. then u do this almost all ur life, then u try so hard to please, the love of ur life, who may not even know that he holds this position in ur life, let alone do the same 4u…then there is ur family to impress, then there is the media to watch out 4…then….my word!!! it just doesnt cease till death and then what does it matter? NOTHING….absolutely nothing! i mean, u cant go with ur loved ones to ur grave, even if u die together, u cant have a huge casket for y’all to b next to each other (redefining the phrase -i’ll be with u till the end) regardless of whether u die in ur sleep o not, get buried in a titanium casket in a golden mausoleum or just plain old wood…..u still DIE n get BURIED anyway…and forgotten, after a while. u might say it is so that we leave a legacy…but hw long will that go on? u dont even know that…generations to come wont even dream there ever lived anyone the likes of u!

so here is what i conluded:-

live ur life man, dont store up all sorts of things 4 just in case…ofcourse am nt saying dont save or insure ur car….u have to live ur life but wisely. quit trying to do all these things u probably wont even do! like trying to understand people…God created us in His image, but even we who are short of being angels dont understand His ways, it is therefore sufficient to say, we will not be able to accomplish that feat, men dont understand women…heck, we dont even understand each other let alone ourselves!!! and ofcourse the reverse is true abt women understanding men n them not understanding themselves either…so my people, just QUIT IT.

find out what makes you happy, and do more of it…for yourself please..maybe along the way, u will please someone else…yay u! if not…or well, we all cant be winners, some have got to stand at the curb and cheer on!
